Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Location: LIPAULT Store, 120 Long Acre, London WC2E 9PA
Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday β Sunday (flexible)
Reporting to: Brand Manager/Area Manager
Job Purpose
Assists the store Manager in coordinating daily operations and sales team activities.
Provides exceptional customer service, maximizing sales and profitability.
Maintains high standards across all responsibilities.
Supports shop floor supervision, administration, staff development, with the Manager.
Implements company policies and procedures.
Runs the store in the absence of the Manager.
Principal Accountabilities
Customer Service/Sales β Offer advice, demonstrate products, promote selling benefits, maintain product knowledge, process transactions, handle complaints, manage sales promotions and targets, and communicate results to management.
Stock / Merchandising β Process deliveries, maintain stockrooms, assist with layouts and displays, conduct stock counts, and coordinate with head office.
Personnel β Communicate professionally with staff, allocate daily work, assist in training and development, and support staff welfare.
Communication β Report on personnel, merchandise, operations; participate in monthly staff meetings; provide sales & buying trend information.
Operation /Administrative Duties β Open/close store, manage banking, handle telephone enquiries, ensure timely dispatch and audits.
Security β Secure safe and store, maintain alarms, report security issues, and manage loss prevention.
House Keeping β Maintain cleanliness, fixture fittings, and equipment.
Attendance β Arrive 5β10 minutes early; report absences promptly.
Appearance β Follow dress policy and maintain team appearance.
Health & Safety β Report accidents, ensure first aid and fire safety compliance.
Additional Responsibilities β Perform duties as directed by Management.
Skills Required
