We’re looking for an experienced Lifting Equipment Technician / Engineer / Fitter to join our close-knit team in Gloucester thanks to recent growth in our customer base. We’re a family-style business — everyone mucks in, looks out for each other, and takes pride in doing things properly.
With the company now under new ownership, this is a great time to come in and become a leading figure in the business. You’ll be trusted to run your work, represent us on site, and help drive standards and service forward.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out LOLER Thorough Examinations/inspections for clients across Gloucestershire
- Completing clear reports/certification and advising customers on any defects/remedial actions
- Inspecting, servicing, repairing and fitting lifting equipment (depending on your experience)
- Fault finding and fixing issues in a practical, safety-first way
- Working independently on site and at our Gloucester HQ workshop
- Setting a good example on safety, quality and customer service
What we’re looking for:
- Solid experience in lifting equipment / cranes / hoists / lifting accessories (or similar)
- Able to carry out LOLER inspections independently and confidently on client sites
- Friendly, reliable, and professional with customers
- Good paperwork habits (reports, job sheets, certs)
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable (nice to have): Electrical/hydraulic fault-finding and installation experience
