We’re looking for a community-focused General Manager to run the Samson Blewitt in Hednesford. Salary up to £40k plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Samson Blewitt is a well-established community pub in the heart of Hednesford, with a strong wet-led customer base and a clear opportunity for a dynamic General Manager to make their mark. This is a pub with personality, local loyalty and plenty of scope to drive sales through great standards, local marketing and a sharper community and sports-led offer.

Taking around £15,000 per week on a 70/30 wet-to-food sales split, the Samson Blewitt is a two-door pub with two distinct trading areas: a lounge area for dining and a separate bar area built around sport, drinks and regular local trade. That layout gives the right General Manager a strong two-pronged sales opportunity, growing both the wet-led bar trade and the food offer in a way that works for the local market.

We’re looking for a General Manager with a proven track record in community or sports-led pubs, someone who is passionate about driving sales growth, spotting opportunities and putting clear plans into action.

Management accommodation is available in the form of a two bedroom flat, situated above the pub.
