We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Security Officer to join our team covering Hackney, Central London and surrounding areas. The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence. Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends & bank holidays.
As a Regional Security Officer you will manage various shifts covering days, nights & weekends:
- Pay Rate: £13.82 + 40p per mile Travel Allowance
- Average Weekly Hours: 48-60 hrs pw
- Contracted Hours: 40 hrs pw
- Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time
Duties will include:
- “Meet and Greet”
- Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
- Manage all systems within the security control base
- Ensure a vigilant, professional presence
- Produce accurate reports as and when needed
- Be an effective liaison between the client and the company Contract Manager
- Be an effective ambassador for Samsic UK Security and the client
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
- Excellent customer care skills
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
- Good observation skills
- A flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
In order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria:
- Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
- Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Five-year checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
