The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the company\’s ESG strategies to support the overall growth, performance, and sustainability of Samsic UK by contributing to the delivery of Samsic UK ESG & Sustainability Strategy and coordinating all environmental & social impacts of its activities.
The Role:
- Create and implement programs to promote sustainability across the Samsic portfolio.
- Monitor and report progress towards Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.
- Encourage sustainable practices to foster a culture of sustainability among employees.
- Boost employee involvement in sustainability initiatives, fostering a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Ensure Samsic meets relevant sustainability certifications and standards.
- Structure and organise an ESG Committee across Samsic UK.
- Define a roadmap and ESG targets for Samsic UK.
- Analyse Samsic UK\’s carbon footprint and define a roadmap to reduce carbon emissions.
- Prepare regular reports on ESG activities, compliance audits, and sustainability performance metrics for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to environmental and governance objectives.
Experience and Knowledge:
Practical experience in sustainability initiatives, familiarity with ESG frameworks and standards, and working experience with certifications such as ISO 14001, GRI Standards, B Corp, and Ecovadis.
Good understanding of environmental regulations relevant to the FM sector.
Good understanding of the TOMS Framework.
Experience with Waste Management & Legislation.
Experience with Charity committee meetings.
