We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Supervisorto join our team at Higher Denham
The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; and presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible, and commanding security presence.
** Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends & bank holidays **
You must have proven experience working as a Supervisor to be considered for this role.
As a Security Supervisor, you will work various shifts covering days & weekends:
· Pay Rate: £14.38p/h unless specified otherwise.
· Average Weekly Hours: 60hrs pw + Overtime available
· Contracted Hours: 60 hrs pw
· Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time
Duties will include:
- Supervising the security team, providing exceptional first-line manned guarding to the assigned contract
- Ensuring that all duties carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
- To provide an exceptional level of service to all staff and visitors to the site
- To be a point of contact for all emergency situations
- To operate and control the CCTV system
- To ensure regular patrols of the site while ensuring all standards are maintained
- Duty manager cover on weekends on rotation
- To manage team rotas and Timegate systems
- Supervising the security team, providing exceptional first-line manned guarding to the assigned contract
- Ensuring compliance with all identified legislation, i.e. H&S, SIA Licensing & Risk Assessments
- Ensuring that all duties carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner
- To provide an exceptional level of service to all staff and visitors to the site
Essential Requirements:
· Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
· Excellent customer care skills
· Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
· Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
· Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
· Demonstrates good observation skills
· Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
In order to work for Samsic UK you MUST fulfil the following criteria:
· Current SIA Licence – Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
· Have an unrestricted right to work full-time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
· Be fluent in spoken and written English
· Have a five-year checkable history (Providing an HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
