Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Management and Supervision: Lead and supervise the security team, ensuring effective coverage and performance. Schedule and assign duties, monitoring staff adherence to security protocols.
  • CCTV Monitoring and Access Control: Oversee CCTV operations and manage access and egress of vehicles and individuals. Ensure all security systems function optimally and incidents are reported promptly.
  • Incident Response and Reporting: Coordinate responses to security incidents or emergencies. Supervise the documentation and reporting process, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • First Aid and Emergency Management: Oversee first aid responses, ensuring team readiness for emergencies. Act as a senior responder in critical situations.
  • Night Patrols Supervision: Manage night patrols, ensuring security risks and safety hazards are identified and addressed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during patrols.
  • KPI Monitoring and Continuous Improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the security team. Implement continuous improvement questionnaires and strategies to enhance security operations.
  • Return to Work Interviews: Conduct return-to-work interviews following staff absences, ensuring a smooth reintegration into the team. Address any concerns or issues that arise during the return-to-work process.
  • Welfare Checks: Regularly perform welfare checks for the security team, ensuring their well-being and addressing any concerns.
  • Reception Cover and Search Process Enforcement: Provide support for reception duties and enforce the day shift search process using the buzzer system.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake additional supervisory responsibilities as required, adapting to the operational needs of the facility.
