About the Role
This role leads a team of 7–9 Mid‑Market Account Executives selling into the UK&I market, expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor, coach, and develop existing Senior Account Executives in outbound cold calling, conversion, and deal close, driving quota over‑attainment.
- Assist live with deal progression and negotiation across the team.
- Coordinate extensively with Marketing/Growth and Account Development Leadership to ensure quality lead volume for the UKI market / Inside Sales team.
- Work cross‑functionally with Sales Engineering, Finance and Order Operations to ensure smooth deal flow.
- Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to benefit the entire market and grow our business in UK&I.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset, Inclusivity, Winning as a Team) as we scale globally.
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high‑performing team.
Qualifications
- 6+ years sales experience.
- 2+ years experience managing a team (preferred).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC.
- Strategic problem‑solving, project management, interpersonal and team‑management skills.
- Strong track record of over‑achievement with experience coaching a team on outbound.
- Experience with a Proof‑of‑Concept or Trial sales motion.
- Ability to provide upward feedback.
