About the Role
This role leads our Inside Sales team of eight Mid Market Account Executives selling into the UK&I market, helping expand our business and grow our customer base.
In this Role
- Mentor, coach, and develop Senior Account Executives — from outbound cold calling through conversion, deal close, and quota over‑attainment
- Support deal progression and negotiation live, across the team
- Coordinate closely with Marketing/Growth and Account Development leadership to ensure quality lead volume for the UK&I Inside Sales team
- Work cross‑functionally with Sales Engineering, Finance, and Order Operations to keep deal flow smooth
- Identify opportunities and lead initiatives that grow the business across the UK&I market
- Champion and role‑model Samsara’s cultural principles — Obsess Over the Customer, Build for the Long Term, Growth Mindset, Inclusivity, Winning as a Team — as we scale globally and across new offices
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high‑performing team
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of sales experience
- 2+ years managing a team (preferred)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce.com (SFDC) and MEDDIC/MEDDPICC
- Strong strategic problem‑solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills
- Proven track record of overachievement, including experience coaching a team on outbounding
- Experience with a Proof of Concept or Trial sales motion
- Comfort giving upward feedback
