Teacher of SEND

We are offering a full‑time fixed‑term position until 31 August 2027 in our resourced provision.

Overview

Our mission is to develop individual excellence, embrace opportunities and build communities with Gospel values at the heart. The post will support secondary‑aged students with SEND and EHCPS and work cooperatively with HFCMAT.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of subjects to secondary students, including those with SEND and EHCPS.
  • Design and facilitate hands‑on learning experiences that engage learners and promote inclusion.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and college leaders to provide tailored support.
  • Contribute to the inclusive centre of excellence by sharing best practice and engaging with the wider community.
  • Show resilience and adaptability when facing the unique challenges of the role.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in secondary education, particularly within SEND or specialist settings, is desired. A passion for helping pupils with great challenges and a "can‑do" attitude are essential.
