Ready to change the world for children who need it most?
Welcome to Co-op Academy Rathbone —our brand-new, purpose-built special educational needs academy located just three miles from the heart of Liverpool city centre. Built from the ground up to cater for 77 incredible children aged 5–11 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, Rathbone isn't just another school. We are building a beacon of best practice—a place where exemplary care meets boundless ambition.
We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who refuse to put a ceiling on what our pupils can achieve.
Who We Are Looking For
You might already have experience in a SEND or complex-needs setting. But more than a specific checklist of past job titles, we care about who you are :
- You have heart, patience, and deep empathy. You understand that behind every behaviour is a child reaching out for support.
- You bring relentless energy. You have an inner drive to make a tangible, lasting difference in the lives of children and their families.
- You are a reflective learner. You adapt, learn, and grow alongside an extraordinary team of passionate professionals.
- You set high standards. You believe every child deserves the best possible start, and you won't settle for anything less.
Why Join Us?
At Co-op Academy Rathbone, you won't just be assisting in a classroom—you will be helping shape the future of SEMH education. You’ll work within a supportive, forward-thinking Trust team that backs your ambition, nurtures your career, and shares your passion for transforming young lives.
