Sammons are partnering with a well-established professional services firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Tax Director to join its expanding tax team. This is a strong opportunity for a senior tax professional seeking a strategic leadership position within a respected practice. The successful individual will take responsibility for a portfolio of key clients, provide high‑level corporate tax advisory services, support business development activity, and play a central role in the ongoing growth of the tax function. The role also requires a commercially minded approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, deliver technically robust advice, identify new opportunities, and lead and mentor members of the wider team. What's on Offer Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hybrid and flexible working arrangements Salary: £Competitive Excellent career progression within a growing tax function Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships across a portfolio of corporate tax clients Deliver high-quality corporate tax advisory services on complex matters Act as lead adviser on key client engagements, including larger and more complex assignments Identify and drive business development and cross-selling opportunities across service lines Ensure compliance with UK tax legislation and professional standards Work collaboratively with internal specialists to deliver a joined-up client service Support strategic planning and the continued development of the tax function Drive improvements in quality, efficiency, and technical capability within the team Mentor, develop, and support junior and mid-level team members Contribute to recruitment, resourcing, and overall team development Skills, Experience & Qualifications CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, ATT or equivalent qualification (or qualified by experience) Significant experience within corporate tax in a professional services environment Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation Proven experience managing client portfolios and complex advisory work Demonstrated ability in business development and client relationship management Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams Strong organisational and project management skills Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused approach Our Ideal Candidate A confident client-facing adviser with strong interpersonal skills A natural leader who enjoys developing and supporting others Technically strong with sound commercial judgement Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality work Motivated by business growth and continuous improvement Recruiting on the basis of Talent, we are committed to supporting and promoting diversity in the workplace and consider all applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
