We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll Senior to join a busy and supportive payroll team based in Ipswich .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a portfolio of clients while playing a key role in supporting colleagues, maintaining high service standards and ensuring payrolls are delivered accurately and on time.

Working within a collaborative environment, you'll manage the full payroll cycle for a varied client base, provide guidance to junior team members, and act as a trusted point of contact for payroll queries.

This role would suit an experienced payroll professional who enjoys building client relationships, mentoring others and keeping up to date with payroll legislation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of client payrolls from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Process weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls.

Calculate and process statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and other payroll-related payments.

Administer workplace pensions, including auto-enrolment and pension submissions.
