Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on interim basis for the duration of 3-4 months, with immediate start. This is a key operational role responsible for the day-to-day delivery of financial processes, management reporting and financial controls across the organisation.
Finance Manager to maintain core finance delivery, coordinate day-to-day workload across a small team, improve priority reporting, controls and processes through the development of Business Central database. You will work with all departments to understand their needs and to ensure the Finance team is able to support these.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the smooth day-to-day delivery of the finance function
- Coordinate workloads and priorities across a small finance team
- Support month-end processes, reconciliations and working papers
- Prepare variance analysis and first-draft management accounts
- Ensure finance deliverables are completed to agreed deadlines
- Improve financial reporting and develop high-value system reports
- Support the development and improvement of finance systems and reporting processes
- Strengthen financial controls, audit trails and supporting documentation
- Progress outstanding audit actions and finance related issues
- Prepare and maintain reconciliations, schedules and audit evidence
- Develop clear and concise finance procedures, SOPs and supporting documentation
- Identify risks and issues early and elevate appropriately
- Work closely with managers and operational leads to understand and support their financial requirements
- Ensure a clear and organised handover is prepared for the permanent Finance Manager
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Recent hands-on experience within management accounting or a Finance Manager role
- Strong experience of month-end processes and reconciliations
- Excellent working-paper discipline and attention to financial controls
- Experience supporting audit requirements and maintaining clear audit trails
- Confidence coordinating the workload of a small finance team
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using finance systems and improving reporting processes
- A proactive and delivery-focused approach
- The ability to manage priorities and work to tight deadlines
- Confidence identifying and escalating financial risks when required
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Finance database or system configuration
- Charity, healthcare, hospice or other regulated environments
