Are you an experienced Production Team Leader looking to take the next step in your career? Our client is seeking a proactive and motivated Team Leader to join their busy manufacturing operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous leadership experience who enjoys supporting and developing a team while ensuring production runs safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Shift Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day activities within your designated work area, promoting best practice, maintaining quality standards and helping to drive continuous improvement. This role offers genuine opportunities for progression within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities
- Allocate tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Carry out quality checks and support the resolution of production issues
- Complete all production paperwork and quality records
- Support and coach team members, reinforcing training and best working practices
- Report performance, attendance or operational concerns to the Shift Supervisor
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency
- Work collaboratively with other departments to hit targets
Skills, Experience & Training Requirements
- Previous experience leading or supervising a small team is essential
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience using hand tools is highly desirable
- Forklift licence would be advantageous
- Experience with production paperwork, quality documentation or stock records is beneficial
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using ERP, MRP or WMS systems
