We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Operative in Littlehampton to join an experienced and growing team on a temporary ongoing basis.

Within this position, you will be responsible for the assembly, test and calibration of products.

Key Responsibilities

Calibration of instrumentation
Building effective working knowledge of instruments and accessories
Investigating and responding to problems found
PCB handling/assembly
Precision soldering
Use of electronic and hydraulic test/calibration equipment
Cable preparation
Working within a team assembling instruments from component level
Assembling and inspecting test kits
Working cross-departmental as requiredKey Requirements

Ability to work as part of a small team
Electronics/Mechanical assembly experience
Understanding of basic electronic components and principles is an advantage but not essential
Good manual dexterity for small component handling
Precision soldering experience
Demonstrate initiative
Good understanding of Microsoft Office
