We are looking for an experienced Vending Engineer to join a team covering the Southampton and Portsmouth area. This is a varied, hands-on role combining field-based work with time spent in an on-site workshop. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vending machines, diagnosing faults and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with vending machines, strong fault-finding skills and a practical approach to resolving technical issues. You will need to be comfortable working independently out in the field as well as alongside colleagues in a workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vending machines and associated equipment Attend customer sites across the Southampton and Portsmouth area to investigate and resolve equipment issues Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions Complete workshop-based maintenance, repairs and equipment checks Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance Ensure vending equipment operates safely and efficiently Maintain accurate records of work completed and any repairs required Keep tools and equipment in good working order Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues to resolve technical issues Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment Skills & Experience Previous experience as a Vending Engineer is essential Strong knowledge of vending machine maintenance, servicing and repairs Confident fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage a field-based workload Comfortable working both on customer sites and in a workshop Good communication and organisational skills Reliable, proactive and able to manage workload effectively Full UK driving licence What’s On Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience Varied role combining field-based work and workshop duties Opportunity to utilise and develop specialist engineering skills Work covering the Southampton and Portsmouth area How to Apply If you have previous vending engineering experience and are looking for your next opportunity, please apply today with your CV or contact our team for more information.
