We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to support the smooth operation of a busy business. This role is key to ensuring customers and internal teams receive the correct parts efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. You will act as a vital link between the workshop, customers, and suppliers, using your technical understanding and organisational skills to manage parts ordering, stock control, and customer enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parts enquiries from customers, engineers, and internal teams
  • Identify and source correct parts using manuals, systems, and supplier databases
  • Process parts orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain stock levels and support inventory management
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery updates
  • Prepare quotations and provide clear, professional communication to customers
  • Support workshop engineers by ensuring parts are available when required
  • Keep accurate records within the company’s parts and CRM systems
  • Resolve parts-related queries and issues in a timely manner
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in parts processes and customer service

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant, or similar role (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic IT skills and experience using parts or inventory systems
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
