Job Title: Paralegal – Conveyancing
Location: Guildford
A leading and fast growing conveyancing business is seeking an experienced and motivated Paralegal to join its dynamic Legal Team. Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in managing property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless client experience throughout.
The Role
As a Paralegal, you will support Lawyers and Solicitors in handling residential property transactions. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation and processing of conveyancing documents, including contracts, transfers, and lease agreements
- Conducting property searches and due diligence to identify potential risks or issues
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in transactions
- Maintaining and organising case files to ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
- Managing deadlines and proactively tracking transaction progress to ensure timely completions
- Preparing reports and correspondence relating to property matters
- Responding to client enquiries and delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Ensuring all client files and internal case management systems are fully updated, including detailed records of telephone calls
- Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Proactively supporting fee earners in building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Keeping fully up to date with relevant property legislation and industry developments
