A fantastic opportunity has become available for a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Engineer to join a dynamic maintenance team working on a range of heavy machinery and plant equipment. This is a hands-on role ideally suited to someone with solid mechanical experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What’s on Offer?  Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Temp to Perm potential) Salary: £24.00p/h Working Hours: Full time Location: East SussexKey Responsibilities: Carry out mechanical maintenance and repair on a range of mobile and fixed plant equipment Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across hydraulic systems and material handling machinery Follow established safety procedures and site processes to ensure safe and efficient work Maintain records of maintenance activity and ensure all work is completed to a high standard Work independently or as part of a team to support daily operations and reduce downtimeSkills, Experience, and Training Requirements: Proven experience in mechanical fitting or engineering roles Familiarity with heavy mobile plant and material handling systems Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems Ability to follow processes while taking initiative and demonstrating a proactive mindset Willingness to work across a variety of older and modern machinery Strong work ethic and commitment to safetyHow to Apply: If you are a confident and capable Mechanical Fitter or Engineer looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
