We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business for a Quality Inspector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in precision inspection and a passion for delivering excellence. You will be responsible for ensuring components, assemblies, and finished goods meet strict quality standards, using a variety of tools and inspection methods.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of components and assemblies to engineering drawings using relevant tools and equipment
- Test and validate components
- Perform weld inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Identify and record any non-conforming features, initiating corrective action and supporting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Inspect finished goods before dispatch to ensure customer requirements are met
- Work collaboratively across teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Maintain and update quality metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards
- Familiarity with quality and process improvement tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
- Effective team player with good listening and communication skills
- Confident in delivering technical information clearly and accurately
