Are you passionate about IT and looking to kickstart or advance your career in a fast-paced, growing company? Our client is seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be the go-to person for providing exceptional IT support, assisting with system improvements, and ensuring that their technology remains up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
You will be part of a talented team, working to maintain and improve their IT systems, supporting new starters, and ensuring a seamless technology experience for our employees. If you\’re a self-starter with a strong interest in IT and a desire to learn, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
IT Helpdesk Monitoring & Support: Monitor their internal IT helpdesk and respond to queries in a timely manner, ensuring employees have the support they need
System Monitoring & Improvement: Monitor the use of software (e.g., Microsoft) and hardware (e.g., printers), looking for opportunities to improve and streamline existing systems
IT Training & Inductions: Provide training and assistance with IT inductions for new starters, ensuring they are set up for success
Supplier Liaison: Liaise with third-party suppliers to resolve issues and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and services
IT Equipment Setup: Order and set up new and replacement IT equipment to ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary tools
Technology & Tools Update: Keep technology and tools updated, ensuring employees have access to the latest products, documents, and software. Communicate any upcoming changes to the team
Occasional Travel: This role will require occasional travel to other offices within the companyAbout You:
Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience is great, but not essential
Qualifications: A minimum of 3 A-levels at grades A to C (or equivalent). A university degree with a 2:1 or above is desired but not essentialHow to Apply:
