Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative - Forklift Licensed to join their team with immediate start on a full-time basis in Hastings. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently (loading and unloading goods)
- Move stock within the warehouse and allocate to correct storage locations
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Carry out goods in and goods out checks
- Maintain accurate stock records and complete relevant paperwork
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
- Support general warehouse duties as required
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance preferred)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time
- Basic numeracy and record keeping skills
