Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team on a temporary basis for 2–3 months in Hastings. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment who can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet required quality standards, identifying defects, and supporting production teams to maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of components and finished products
- Ensure products meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards
- Identify, record, and report non-conformances
- Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
- Support quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes
