We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client for an Assembly / Finisher to join their team in Eastbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in assembly, finishing, or fitting who takes pride in producing high quality work. You will play a key role in ensuring components meet strict quality standards, working within a clean, organised, and safety focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Finish components to a high standard, ensuring surfaces are free from defects
- Carry out testing and inspection operations on chambers
- Set up and operate leak testing equipment (mass spectrometry)
- Assemble and fit components in line with technical requirements
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
- Follow all health & safety and quality procedures
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements
- Previous experience in finishing, fitting, or assembly
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Confident using handheld power tools
- Good understanding of quality standards and attention to detail
- Experience within UHV / HV environments
- Ability to work on complex small and large assemblies
- Good level of physical fitness and manual dexterity
