Sammons are working with a well-established client who are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to take ownership of the people function within a busy business. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are effective, compliant and aligned with business objectives.
The role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy development, performance management and general HR operations.

- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to offboarding
- Lead and coordinate onboarding and induction processes for new starters
- Provide HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Manage employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary procedures, grievances and performance issues
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure HR policies and procedures remain compliant with current employment legislation
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives
- Minimum 3 years' experience within a Human Resources role
- Proven experience of ER case handling
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices
- Experience handling employee relations matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- CIPD Level 5 desirable
- Has very strong communication skills
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Can confidently manage sensitive and confidential matters
- Is approachable, professional, and supportive
- Takes ownership of their workload and continuously looks for ways to improve processes
