We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client for an Assembly / Finisher to join their team in Eastbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in assembly, finishing, or fitting who takes pride in producing high quality work. You will play a key role in ensuring components meet strict quality standards, working within a clean, organised, and safety focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finish components to a high standard, ensuring surfaces are free from defects
  • Carry out testing and inspection operations on chambers
  • Set up and operate leak testing equipment (mass spectrometry)
  • Assemble and fit components in line with technical requirements
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
  • Follow all health and safety protocols

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

  • Previous experience in finishing, fitting, or assembly
  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Confident using handheld power tools
  • Good understanding of quality standards and attention to detail
  • Experience within UHV / HV environments
  • Ability to work on complex small and large assemblies
  • Good level of physical fitness and manual dexterity
