Multiple office locations UK wide with hybrid working structure. We’re looking for a technically strong pensions professional to lead standards, governance, and best practice across Defined Benefit administration. This is a pivotal role where you’ll provide technical leadership, interpret complex legislation, and drive continuous improvement- working closely with QA, Operations, and senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a DB pensions technical expert on complex queries and legislation
  • Translate regulatory change into practical guidance and processes
  • Support and evolve standards, governance, and frameworks
  • Own Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive improvements
  • Produce MI, trend analysis, and insights to inform decisions
  • Collaborate across teams to embed consistent best practice

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in third‑party DB pensions administration
  • Deep knowledge of UK DB legislation and scheme structures
  • Background in technical, QA, or governance‑focused roles
  • Strong analytical skills, including RCA and trend analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

Desirable: Knowledge of industry standards (TPR, ISO, PASA), governance frameworks, data quality initiatives (e.g. dashboards), and relevant qualifications (PMI).
