We are looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team at Samlesbury Hall. The role is primarily based in the Garden Room Eatery, supporting our busy weekend service, with occasional opportunities to assist in the banqueting kitchen for weddings and events. Must be able to work weekends.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparing and delivering high-quality breakfast, lunch, and afternoon teas
- Ensuring consistent food quality and presentation during service
- Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy weekend periods
- Occasionally assisting in the banqueting kitchen for weddings and functions
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
- Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience as a chef in a restaurant or similar service environment
- Must be able to work weekends
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
- Experience in banqueting or event catering
- Passion for fresh, well-presented food
- A unique working environment at a historic venue
