Donor Services Representative (Fixed Term Contract)

We are recruiting for a full time (35 hours per week) temporary Donor Services Representative to join us at our National Ministry Centre, Coventry.

Our Donor Services department receives calls and processes donations from our donors and are requiring an extra team member during our Operation Christmas Child season. It is such a fun and joyful time to be part of the organisation.

You will be supporting both Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, receiving telephone and email enquiries, praying with our donors, and providing administrative support to the Operation Christmas Child project, enabling us to bless children around the world with the gift of the Gospel message.

This is a busy and varied role, requiring excellent attention to detail and a confident and clear phone manner.

In accordance with the Equality Act of 2010 and due to both the nature and context of the role there is an ‘occupational requirement’ for the post holder to be an evangelical Christian. The job holder should be committed to the purpose of SPI and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support and contribute to its Christian ethos.

A basic DBS check will be required.

  • Handle telephone and email inquiries from donors and provide information and support.
  • Process donations and support the Operation Christmas Child project during peak season.
  • Pray with donors and maintain a compassionate, donor-focused approach.
  • Provide administrative support to the Operation Christmas Child project and related activities.
  • Collaborate with Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent attention to detail and a confident, clear phone manner.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and maintain donor records accurately.
  • Willingness to participate in prayer with donors.
  • DBS check required.
  • Occupational requirement: due to the nature and context of the role, the post holder must be an evangelical Christian and committed to SPI’s Christian ethos.
