Job Overview: To assemble a range of components into finished or part-finished goods within a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Work to strict safety and quality standards.
- Operate power tools.
- Ensure products are to the correct tolerances using measuring equipment to meet customer and internal standards and specifications.
- Document actions by completing operator documentation such as job cards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Report any faults of equipment or material to the appropriate manager.
The Ideal Candidate will (but not limited to):
- Hold both GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Demonstrate good communication and team working skills.
- Be willing to learn and take on new tasks.
- Have good attention to detail.
- Be practical and have a hands-on approach.
Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 16.00, Friday 07.00 - 12 noon = Total 39 hours.
