Job Overview: To assemble a range of components into finished or part-finished goods within a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Work to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Operate power tools.
  • Ensure products are to the correct tolerances using measuring equipment to meet customer and internal standards and specifications.
  • Document actions by completing operator documentation such as job cards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Report any faults of equipment or material to the appropriate manager.

The Ideal Candidate will (but not limited to):

  • Hold both GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate good communication and team working skills.
  • Be willing to learn and take on new tasks.
  • Have good attention to detail.
  • Be practical and have a hands-on approach.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 16.00, Friday 07.00 - 12 noon = Total 39 hours.
