Job Overview:
To assemble a range of component into finished or part-finished goods within a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
- Working to strict safety and quality standards.
- Operate power tools
- Ensure products are to the correct tolerances using measuring equipment to meet customer and internal standards and specifications
- Document actions by completing operator documentation such as job cards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Report any faults of equipment or material to appropriate manager.
The Ideal Candidate will (but not limited to):
- Hold both GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
- Demonstrate good communication and team working skills
- Be willing to learn and take on new tasks
- Have good attention to detail
- Be practical and have a hands-on approach
Hours of work:
Monday - Thursday 07.00 - 16.00 Friday 07.00 - 12 noon = Total 39 hours
