We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Quality Engineer to join our aerospace team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a highly regulated industry. You will support the implementation of quality systems, ensure compliance with aerospace standards, and contribute to maintaining the highest levels of product integrity and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards
  • Assist in conducting internal audits, inspections, and compliance checks
  • Investigate non-conformances (NCRs) and support root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues
  • Contribute to corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Support supplier quality activities, including audits and performance monitoring
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for compliance
  • Assist in collecting and analysing quality data to drive continuous improvement
  • Participate in customer and regulatory audits
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential:

  • Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001)
  • Familiarity with quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Internship or placement experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of technical drawings and GD&T
  • Exposure to ERP or quality management systems
