We are looking for an experienced or enthusiastic Wellness Assistant to join our team!
What does the role entail?
Wellness Programming: Follow and promote a wellness programme that encourages participation in activities that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. This includes hosting events, outings, and workshops that align with residents\’ interests and promote new hobbies.
Promote Autonomy and Independence: Support residents in making choices that reflect their personal wellness goals, ensuring they feel valued for their contributions to society, both past and present.
Facilitate Meaningful Connections: Encourage intergenerational interactions and a sense of community, enhancing the well-being of residents and their families while staying connected with the wider community.
Person-Centred: Use creativity to adapt and adjust your approach to suit each resident and achieve best out-comes for their health, happiness and overall wellbeing; ensuring you get to know each individual personally, so you understand their needs, history and preferences, enabling you to deliver a truly person-centred service.
Monitor and Communicate Wellbeing: Actively monitor changes in residents\’ physical and mental wellbeing, communicating any concerns to the care team to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
Adherence to Professional Standards: Uphold the highest standards of care, ensuring compliance with Salveo Care policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Cherry Tree House is a multi-award-winning private care home situated in the beautiful and quiet residential area of Wendover. Cherry Tree House has a wonderful reputation for providing the highest levels of care to residents in a welcoming and relaxed environment. The home provides residential and mild dementia care for up to 20 people.
