Location: Cherry Tree House, 49 Dobbins Lane, Wendover. You must be a UK resident with a working visa to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage participation in physical, cognitive, spiritual and creative activities to promote wellness.
  • Support the care team with tasks as required, including medication administration, new resident admissions and transfers of care.
  • Lead and support the care team, following excellent clinical practice, actively monitoring care practices, identifying and responding to the changing needs of residents.
  • Act as a role model and mentor for staff, providing constructive feedback.
  • Update care plans regularly, taking a collaborative approach that ensures the residents’ needs are communicated effectively.
  • Encourage residents to maintain independence wherever possible, providing support as needed but ensuring they feel a sense of autonomy.
  • Ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity, preserving their privacy and self‑esteem and offering choice.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulatory guidelines, including infection control measures, to ensure a safe, compliant and professional work environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills: effectively and confidently with elderly residents, their families, and the care team.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 and/or relevant experience in medication administration, care planning and delivering care to residents.
  • Passion for wellness and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
  • Empathy and compassion: calm, caring personality with a deep understanding of holistic care.
