We are looking for experienced finance professionals to collaborate with AI researchers on evaluating and improving large language models (LLMs) used in financial analysis. This role focuses on applying real-world finance expertise to assess AI-generated outputs, define quality benchmarks, and help shape how AI systems understand complex financial concepts. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate AI / LLM outputs across finance use cases where models underperform
- Apply professional finance judgment to assess analysis assumptions and conclusions
- Create clear rubrics and benchmarks to measure model quality (e.g. deal analysis, M&A assessments, financial modeling)
- Collaborate with AI researchers and other finance experts to improve training and evaluation methods
- 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Research, Trading, Quant, FP&A, Accounting or Financial Consulting
- Strong understanding of core finance concepts (investment analysis, forecasting, valuation, corporate finance, asset management, risk management, etc.)
- Excellent written English communication
- Permanent right to work in the US
- CFA (any level), CA, CPA or MBA (Finance)
- Competitive hourly rate
- Contract / freelance engagement
- Fully remote
- Flexible workload: 20-40 hours per week
- Partial overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) required
- Short-term contract with potential extensions
