Join us as our Digital Asset Coordinator and play a vital role in managing and shaping how The Salvation Army brand is represented across photography. The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Within the role of Digital Asset Coordinator you will:

  • Be an integral part of the Video Production Unit which is responsible for both imagery and video.
  • Own and optimise our DAM system, managing configuration, usage rights and asset life cycle while embedding efficient, compliant workflows.
  • Lead the organisation, tagging and governance of digital assets using best-practice taxonomy and metadata, enabling fast and accurate search for users across the organisation.
  • Have a keen eye for what works, with ability to recognise great imagery.
  • Plan and run photoshoots and coordinate the allocation and tracking of models.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for communicating through photography and film, with strong demonstrable experience of working successfully in a similar role building scalable, user-centric systems that enable efficient asset discovery and integrate seamlessly with creative, operational, and technical workflows.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of successfully operating Digital Asset Management (DAM) software and systems such as Canto, Binder, Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of applying metadata, taxonomy and rights management within a real world working environment.
  • A desire to portray people with respect and integrity, with an understanding of how to portray diversity and inclusion through photography.
  • A full valid UK driving licence and ability to drive crew vehicle.

The Video production Unit produces over 100 video and photography projects a year - your work will have great impact!
