Permanent, full‑time position available at Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd (SATCoL). The vacancy will close in 11 days at 23:59 BST.

Key responsibilities

  • Run a large‑format donation centre (≈8,000 sq ft) handling up to 10 tonnes of donated goods per week.
  • Generate new donations by building strong local relationships, using social media creatively, and designing engaging promotions and events.
  • Lead a diverse team, mainly volunteers, inspiring, coaching and developing a culture where everyone feels valued and motivated.
  • Balance operational oversight with creativity, community engagement and commercial drive to grow income and impact.
  • Recruit, maintain and support a bank of skilled volunteers for sorting, repairing and up‑cycling items, ensuring high‑quality service for donors and customers.
  • Establish links with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and individuals to provide donations and volunteer time.
  • All managers and centre managers will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check.
