As the Manager you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day running of the shop, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The role includes preparing and sorting donations for sale, managing manual handling tasks, recruiting and maintaining a skilled volunteer bank, and establishing links with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and community members. Responsibilities

  • Day‐to‐day running of the shop.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to donors and customers.
  • Prepare and sort donations for the shop floor.
  • Recruit and manage a bank of skilled and general volunteers for collecting, sorting and preparing donations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses, Salvation Army Corps and community members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and manual handling procedures.

Schedule does not include evening or Sunday working.
