We are looking for an Assistant Manager to support the manager in the day‑to‑day running of all areas of our donation centre. The role involves collecting donations, processing and redistributing goods, running repairs and reuse services, and supporting volunteers and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving donations and organising collections from private houses and other locations.
  • Processing and delivering items to local SA shops, selling on the premises, or redistributing.
  • Managing the repair and reuse service to divert goods from landfill.
  • Responding to customer queries and managing communications with head office.
  • Opening and closing the centre.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers and staff.

We operate a flexible schedule with no evening or Sunday work.
