The Vacancy – 37.5 hours/week. This Assistant Manager role supports the manager in daily operations, including receiving donations, organising collections from private houses and other locations, processing and delivering goods to local SA shops, selling on the premises or redistributing them. The centre also offers a repair and reuse service to divert goods from landfill. The role requires opening and closing the centre, responding to customer, head‑office and team queries, and supporting recruitment and training of volunteers and staff.
