As the Assistant Manager you will be supporting the manager in the day to day running of all areas of the business. This will include receiving donations, as well as organising collections from private houses and other locations. All of which will be processed and delivered to local SA shops, sold on the premises or redistributed. We will also be offering a repair and reuse service to the community, which helps divert as many unwanted goods away from landfill where practical. This is a very 'hands on' role and you will be expected to respond to queries raised by customers, head office and the team. On a regular basis you will have the responsibility for opening and closing the centre and be involved in the ongoing recruitment and training of volunteers and staff.
