About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Maintenance Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of our asset strategy across your region. Here's what you'll get involved with:

  • Carry out property inspections and condition surveys
  • Support planned maintenance, repairs and capital investment projects
  • Manage the Multi Skilled Operative (MSO) in your region
  • Ensure our homes meet building safety and regulatory standards
  • Deliver pre- and post-inspections of voids
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Contribute to asset performance reviews and technical reporting
  • Work collaboratively with housing, repairs and compliance colleagues
  • Support sustainability and energy efficiency improvements
  • Engage with vulnerable residents and our partners across supported housing

This is a hands-on role where visibility on sites and services is essential.

About The Candidate

You’ll bring:

  • A degree or HNC/HND in Building Surveying, Construction or similar
  • Experience in property surveying or asset data collection
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret technical detail clearly
  • Understanding of building regulations, housing standards and health & safety
  • Willingness to travel and be present on sites regularly
