Independent Living Skills Coach role in Preston. Working in an environment dedicated to providing comprehensive, good quality housing services, support and resettlement. You will work with people who are or have recently experienced homelessness and who are in need of support and accommodation. You will assess needs, build trust, enable and unlock clients' potential to live independently, help them enhance social integration and abilities by encouraging participation in social and leisure programmes, and assist with daily living and practicalities.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs and develop person-centred support plans.
- Build trust and supportive relationships with clients to enable independent living.
- Encourage clients to participate in social and leisure activities.
- Assist residents with practical daily living needs.
- Provide support and accommodation coordination as part of homelessness resettlement efforts.
