Relief Support Worker

About The Role

We are looking for a Relief Support Worker who will cover occasional shifts on a casual basis at our FreshStart service. The role involves working with people who are or have recently experienced homelessness and who need support and accommodation.

• Build the trust of our clients.
• Unlock clients’ potential to live independently.
• Enhance their social integration by encouraging participation in social and leisure programmes.
• Help residents with their support needs and with the practicalities of everyday living.

What You Will Need To

• Be a confident and capable communicator.
• Be able to build trusting, professional relationships.
• Help people develop their skills, strengths and talents.
• Have good knowledge or experience of working with homeless people and/or supporting vulnerable people or groups.
• Ideally participate in our on‑call rota as required.
