Finance Business Partner in London

We provide general needs housing, supported accommodation, and homes for older people. We are looking for a talented and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who wants to use their expertise to support meaningful social impact. As a trusted advisor to operational leaders, you will help drive financial performance, provide insightful analysis, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering excellent housing and support services to those who need them most.

What you’ll be doing:

• Act as a trusted finance partner to operational and departmental leaders.
• Support budget holders in developing and managing budgets and forecasts.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to improve performance.
• Lead the production of accurate monthly management accounts, annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and financial performance reports in line with agreed timetables.
• Monitor financial performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support business planning, investment appraisal, and strategic decision-making.
• Lead and coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop financial models and business cases for key projects and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll bring:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or Management Accounting role.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts, and financial analysis.
• Ability to influence, challenge, and support non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong financial systems experience.

Working Arrangements:

This is a hybrid role. You will work primarily from home but will need to occasionally attend the London Office (Denmark Hill).
