We're partnering with a high-trust technology consultancy delivering cutting-edge AI solutions into highly sensitive government environments. We're looking for Mid or Senior level Engineers with a strong DevOps and infrastructure background to join a high-performing technical team working at the intersection of applied AI research and real-world mission delivery.
This role sits across DevOps engineering, applied AI systems, and client advisory - ideal for someone who enjoys both building robust, scalable infrastructure and seeing it drive genuine operational impact.
The role:
- Lead and support a small technical team in containerising, deploying and operationalising AI/ML research systems
- Bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and production-ready infrastructure
- Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration solutions in high-security environments
- Translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear, actionable insight for non-technical stakeholders
- Lead delivery of secure, high-impact R&D and productisation projects
- Mentor engineers and shape technical direction around DevOps best practice
- Contribute to identifying and shaping future opportunities at the intersection of AI and infrastructure
What we're looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (Docker Compose, Kubernetes or similar)
- Solid Git workflow experience and familiarity with CI/CD tooling
- Comfortable working in Python-based environments alongside ML/AI teams
- Experience productionising software - testing, deployment pipelines, monitoring and ongoing support
- Exposure to RESTful API design and frameworks such as FastAPI a bonus
- Exceptional communication skills - able to clearly explain infrastructure decisions to technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Comfortable operating in high-security, high-trust environments
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and technical leadership capability
