Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Developer/DevOps Engineer to join the team in a high-profile delivery project, supporting and developing multiple applications in a DevSecOps environment. As a technical leader, you will drive the design and implementation of new features, while mentoring junior developers to ensure a successful project delivery in collaboration with other project teams.
Our client is a global technology leader, supporting UK government and top secret projects. This role would require you to obtain DV level security clearance, therefore you must be a British national, or have had British citizenship and resided in the UK for at least 10 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of new features, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with project goals.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and go-live.
- Contribute to the evaluation of future development opportunities for our existing applications.
- Develop and maintain applications using a range of technologies, including but not limited to: Java, JavaScript, Node.js.
- Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and secure application delivery.
Work Environment:
- Work on-site for (3 – 5) days per week in the central London or Cheltenham offices, with a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs.
