About The Company Beaumont College is a very special place and we are seeking to extend our work-family in response to increased demand for places at the college. About The Role College Residential Support Worker – Residential Team – Full year, 52 week roles, working with students who have complex health conditions and/or autism / ADHD. Communication is commonly behaviour related and positive behaviour support planning underpins education. Location: Lancaster Hours: 37 per week. £11.60 to £12.85 per hour. Driver preferred but not essential. We have roles for existing health and social care professionals and those new to the profession. The Salutem Academy offers all-age opportunities for further study for career progression, and operational training is planned around the service you work in. Our 38-week Residential Team support students to live and learn at Beaumont College. Following a Pathway to Adulthood, those students who are residential enjoy living alongside their peers, applying what they have learned into living, and enjoy life as a resident at college. There is a developing weekly activities schedule, which includes gaming, crafting, disco’s, karoke and more. Students may have complex health conditions and/or diagnoses or autism or similar conditions. Training around positive behaviour support will underpin the planning for daily routines. You will join a skilled and experienced team of colleagues and support a wide range of students as they live away from home from the first time. Rotas are commonly 7 days a week, full or part time.
