Role Description
The Senior Estimator is a full-time role based in Chester with a hybrid working arrangement, allowing some work from home.
This role is responsible for preparing detailed estimates and cost plans for projects, reviewing tender documentation, and analyzing drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Day-to-day tasks include obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, performing quantity take-offs, and ensuring that estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with company standards.
The Senior Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, technical teams, and finance to support bid submissions, value engineering, and risk assessments.

Qualifications
- Strong estimating and cost planning skills, including experience producing detailed estimates, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions.

- Solid analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to compare and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
